There are approximately 44.7 million people who were / are struggling with PTSD.
The VA estimates that there are 900,000 veterans with PTSD.
Only 50% of those with PTSD seek help, and of those only 25% get effective help.
The good news is...
We know that when people get help, it does make a difference. Even though PTSD never totally goes away, it can be managed so that the entire family can lead a fulfilling life. Knowing people and having a community (such as our free Facebook group) can help work through PTSD issues. Isolation, fear and dread are hallmarks of a family living with PTSD.
